J&J Metro Moving and Storage is a family-owned moving company in Orlando, FL, based on West Kennedy Boulevard. We have moved Central Florida families since 1968. Today we handle residential, commercial, and office moves, packing and custom crating, and full-service storage in our 24,000-square-foot facility.

Our Florida mover registration number is IM-120, and we are licensed and insured.

One team for packing, moving, and storage

One call to J&J Metro can cover packing, the move itself, and storage if you need it. Our packing team can pack an entire home or business, help you finish, or prepare a few select pieces, and builds custom crates for items that need more protection than a box can give.

Storage is full-service: our crew loads at your location, brings your belongings to the facility, and delivers them when you call.

Local roots

J&J Metro began as two companies. Metro Moving and Storage opened in 1968 on Salana Avenue in Winter Park, and J&J Moving and Storage followed in 1977. The two came under the same ownership in 1985 and merged their names into J&J Metro Moving and Storage.

The Bergenske family became co-owners in 1985, and Gary J. Bergenske later became sole owner. In 1987, the company built its current office and warehouse in the Maitland area. In 2011, G. Jason Bergenske joined the management team as Vice President, the third generation of the Bergenske family in the business.

Our company history records 87,000 moves by the time J&J Metro neared its 50th year. Many customers have moved with us more than once and recommended us to family and friends.
